Mt Martha Landscape – Our client undertook major renovations on this stunning Mt Martha home prior to Christmas and needed the landscaping to complement the home’s new facade. This project included feature stone retainer walls, paving, fencing, drainage, exposed aggregate driveway, crushed rock pathways and a harmonizing plant pallet. Plant selection includes: Waterhousia floribunda (Weeping Lilli Pilli), Acmena smithii Sublime, Lagerstroemia indica ‘Natchez’, Lavender angustifolia, Buxus sempervirens (shaped into spheres).

An environmentally sensitive Mt Martha landscape design abutting a local nature reserve incorporating native planting, feature rocks, timber posts, garden lighting. This landscape design needed to be empathetic to the surrounds while still providing an attractive entrance to the stunning extension and renovation that the building had undertaken.  The landscape was set amongst stone rocks and vertical feature posts that were subtly highlighted with strategically placed garden lighting to gently guide visitors to the entrance of the home. Enrich your lifestyle

A stylish and well considered design and meticulously formed landscape will serve to provide a natural extension to your indoor lifestyle…a place to relax, entertain, enjoy and inspire.

The client brief for this landscape design was extensive (but achievable): child-friendly, accessible, functional, considerate of viewlines, complementing of architecture, enticing, productive, attractive. This split-level Mediterranean style home’s landscape was a blank canvas positioned on an inclined block with Bay views. The first floor decking was re-designed to provide direct access to the back yard and maximize the viewlines whilst overlooking the (what was to become) stunning garden. Over several retained levels, this landscape design incorporating a ‘hidden’ veggie patch, expansive level lawn area (wintergreen couch) and ground-level seating and playground area. A selection of drought-tolerant succulents and coastal plants as low-level plants complement the home’s style perfectly.
