An environmentally sensitive Mt Martha landscape design abutting a local nature reserve incorporating native planting, feature rocks, timber posts, garden lighting. This landscape design needed to be empathetic to the surrounds while still providing an attractive entrance to the stunning extension and renovation that the building had undertaken. The landscape was set amongst stone rocks and vertical feature posts that were subtly highlighted with strategically placed garden lighting to gently guide visitors to the entrance of the home. Connecting your home with your garden in a sophisticated and well considered approach that complements your home’s style, providing you a place to delight in, appreciate and admire.
Hidden behind the beautifully structured stone pillars and the stunning timber gates, is this gorgeous Mt Martha landscape. The vast, lush Santa Ana Couch lawn acts as an attractive foreground to an impressive plant pallet. One of our favourite feature plants (behind the big white gates) is a pair of Gleditsia triacanthos ‘Sunburst’ – An attractive deciduous tree with bright yellow young pendulous leaves that ripen to a lime green colour.
The long driveway is flanked by 10 Cleveland Select Ornamental Pears and side fences camouflaged with Leightons Green Cyprus. Other plants include Japanese Box, Giant Evergreen Liriope, Little Con Lomandra, Japanese Star Jasmine, Royal Purple Liriope, Oriental Pearl Indian Hawthorn.
